I moved to NYC on Saturday. It took forever getting everything together for this move, but I am finally here. It's great to be working in the same office, with the digital thinktank I've been working for the past 5 months.
I've moved into The Octagon on Roosevelt Island, a 2 mile long island on the East river. I fell in love with the island and the apartment complex immediately. I would recommend living at The Octagon to anybody who lives or is thinking about living in NYC.
It's amazing coming home to a new apartment complex (less than 2 years old) with
a gym, private clubhouse, tennis courts, pool, grills, floor to ceiling windows with views of the east river and Manhattan, washer and dryer in the unit and brand new dishwasher, fridge and stove... i'm in heaven.
I'll take pictures of my actual unit once all the moving boxes are cleared out and the final decorating touches have been made.
